Mission and Ethos of TPCU SBX program
“The mission of the Team Park City United SBX program, is to create a safe environment for committed snowboarders to develop their Boardercross skills and compete at the highest level possible.” “This is done with a dedication to training, which can be done in so many ways for Boardercross. Just snowboarding in itself is training in our world.” The skill sets to become a good Boardercrosser are so vast that it enables us to vary our training on a daily basis, which is the funnest thing we do”

The SBX program encourages riders to become the best they can be, within their own personal goals.
Coaches guide athletes through board performances, and the movement pools needed to achieve the efficiency of riding as fast as possible down a boardercross course. Other skills that are addressed are race strategy, mental toughness, equipment maintenance, long term athlete development and independence.
Since its inception in 2014, the Team Park City United SBX team has trained many of the strongest young riders competing on the NorAm and World Cup circuit. With a total of 15 riders from three Nations competing at 3 FIS Junior World Championships and going on to become National Team members. A legacy we intend to continue.
