Michael Bell – Program Director/Head Coach
Coach Since: 1998

Michael has returned to the area after a 5 year stint overseas working with the New Zealand National Team and working as their Olympic coach at the Vancouver 2010 Games.

Michael started The Park City Snowboard Team in 2003 and incorporated it as a 501(c)(3) at that time. Michael built the team to over 60 athletes in 2008. In addition, Michael started and organized the running of a solid self-supporting Team fundraising USASA event series within the Intermountain area. PCSBT gained national program recognition including club of the year in 2008 under his leadership and direction. At that time Michael was asked to join and coach the New Zealand National Team in their build to the upcoming Olympics. After coaching at the Vancouver Olympics in 2010 and the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in Austria 2012, Michael returned to Park City in January 2013 and was approached to continue on with the Team as Executive Director and in a coaching role starting September 2013.

Michael has been in the teaching/coaching and snow industry since 1989, and is excited to be back to his home in park City and to build upon what was begun a few years back with an exciting and new batch of athletes.
